Dripping in sweat is a sign of a great workout.
However, has your sweat ever caused your eyes to burn? Men’s Health Magazine found the reason- hydration. Sweat is composed of water, salt, and other minerals, and the salt content can cause eye irritation. When you’re more hydrated, salt concentration is lower and should mean less of a burning sensation in your eyes if sweat drips in. When your body is dehydrated, the salt concentration is higher and can cause more irritation. Be sure to always keep your body hydrated!
