Do you like to blast music as you workout? You’re not alone!

Researchers at Texas Tech University say upbeat music can increase tolerance for intense exercise.

In the study, 127 participants took a cardiac stress test. Half listened to Latin-inspired, upbeat music while the other half walked in silence. It was discovered that those who listened to music could go for about a minute longer than those who didn’t.
