Have you recently picked up the habit of running?

Before you dive right in, follow these tips to become a better runner and prevent injury.

  • Start slow. It’s okay to start at a small amount at first or even mix in running and walking.
  • Run with proper form. Don’t let your arms cross your body and strike on the balls of your feet.
  • Practice your breathing.
  • Get the right pair of shoes for you.
  • Work on your strength training and stay flexible. Properly stretch after a workout to cool down.
